We had concluded our day of celebrating Savannah's St. Paddy's Day Parade and returned to the Kimpton Hotel to get a breather before going back out for dinner. Since we were a tad hungry, we stopped at Pacci Italian Kitchen & Bar, attached to the Kimpton, for a drink and a bite. We enjoyed the Burrata and Mushroom Risotto, both gluten-free and fabulous. I pondered existence over a Gold Rush cocktail that brought me to a place of tremendous well-being and precision. It was fun hanging out at the bar area as we were surrounded by jubilant conversation and enjoyed our cocktails and good eats. The bartenders were pretty good at attending to us and the other patrons, as it was St. Paddy's weekend. It was an enjoyable spot to enjoy something on the fly and I'm sure the dinners are good as well.

This place was delicious. We loved our cocktails and food. The waitress catered to our every need in the perfect way. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five is because it was rather expensive. I know we are in a major city, but I just did not think it should cost that much. Maybe at least ten to fifteen dollars cheaper on the final bill. The decor was modern and comfortable. It is a great option to have while staying at the Kimpton Bruce Hotel.

I generally don't have high expectations for hotel breakfast, but Pacci's has some hearty breakfast for a good price. Service varies depending on where you sit. We sat at the same booth for two days in a row and we had an energetic server who recommended the shrimp and grits. The chef comes in at 5am every morning to make the grits and it's their favorite dish to make. Hearing that, it was a no brainer to try them. My partner and I also tried the smoked salmon bagel and the ham and cheddar omelette with cheese grits. The grits are warm and creamy and the shrimps are plump and juicy. The nduja sauce that is used to season the shrimp and grits brings the dish together. Very filling and delicious for $19 dollars. The smoked salmon bagel is also pretty good with slivers of red onion and capers. My partner enjoyed his ham and cheddar omelette as well. Ambiance is calm and casual and there weren't a lot of people having hotel breakfast for the days we stayed. Unlike hotels that serve free breakfast buffets, the a la carte breakfast likely pushes patrons to go out and find other breakfast options. Better for us since we get to use our hotel credit, have a calm breakfast, and spend less outside. I'm not sure how dinner is at Pacci's but the breakfast keeps you full and gives you the energy for a long day. Definitely good to take advantage if you have hotel credit.
